This year's Ladies Long Marker Cup will be held Monday 6 September. The Cup is an individual stableford event, with a handicap limit of 31. The Cup is proudly sponsored by Tuggerah Lakes Early Moaners.

The NSW/ACT Pro-Am circuit provides playing opportunities to the next generation of Australian golf professionals. The circuit has grown to over 70 events with in excess of $1million in prize money annually. Players such as Andre Stoltz, Ricky Schmidt, Aaron Townsend and Euan Porter have used the Pro-Am circuits to develop a platform to launch their national and international playing careers.

Shelly Beach Golf Club has been home to the Pro Am for some 15 years and once again the club has received entries from the likes of 2007 Order of Merit winner, Josh Lane; past winners of the Shelly Beach (formerly Tuggerah Lakes) Pro-Am Classic, Anthony Summers and Ricky Schmidt; and other leading order of merit players such as John Onions, Max Forrest and Michael Etherington.

Event: PGA Pro Am – 18 Holes Championship Golf
Competitors: International, national and amateur
Description: One professional will play with each team of three amateurs during the one day event
Format:
Session 1
7am shotgun start for members and professionals, followed by lunch after golf.
Session 2
12noon shotgun start for corporate sponsors and leading professionals, followed by the major presentation and dinner.

Myositis is an incurable muscle debilitating disease with under 500 recorded cases Australia wide. The Myositis Association is organizing a charity golf day to raise funds to help with research & awareness.
