A Little TLGC History
TUGGERAH Lakes Golf Club was formed in 1929. It has been the leading golf club on the Central Coast for 75 years.
The evolution of Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club from its modest beginnings to its present state has been well documented over the years.
It is nonetheless interesting for newcomers to the Club to learn that Tuggerah Lakes Golf Course was originally a 9 hole course built
in Killarney Vale on the site which subsequently housed Killarney Vale Community Hospital.
A clubhouse was also built and the golf links were officially opened in 1929 by the late Cr. A.L. Taylor, president of Erina
Shire.
