THE PRO-AM CIRCUIT
Players such as Andre Stoltz, Ricky Schmidt, Aaron Townsend and Euan Porter have used the Pro-Am circuits to develop a platform to launch their national and international playing careers. The Pro-Am circuits are an integral part of Australian golf, promoting golf participation throughout the community and providing amateurs the opportunity to play with a touring professional.
Tuggerah Lakes Pro-Am This year Tuggerah Lakes is expecting entries from the likes of 2007 Order of Merit winner Josh Lane and leading players such Ed Steadman and Leigh McKechnie. Past winners of the Tuggerah Lakes Pro-Am Classic include 2007 winners Anthony Summers and David Partridge and 2006 winners Ken Druce and Martin Pettigrew.

Event Overview Date: Friday 12 September 2008 Venue: Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club, Shelly Beach Event: PGA Pro-Am - 18 Holes Championship Golf Competitors: International, national and amateur Description: The Pro-Am has been held at Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club for some 11 years. The PGA event will see 1 Professional play with each team of 3 amateurs during the 1 day event - a total of 64 professionals and 192 amateurs. Format: Session 2 • 1 team, consisting of three golfers in the Pro-Am, noon start (corporate) • 1 Professional to play with your team • 2 rounds of golf with golf carts to entertain your business clients over the next 12 months • 3 Pro-Am t-shirts • 3 VIP passes to sponsors presentation dinner (inclusive of drinks) • 3 corporate player's gift packs for participating golfers • On-course hospitality - lunch pack and snacks during round
• Acknowledgement on all advertising material • Logo recognition on event literature • Signage opportunity at one hole (client expense) • Media release featuring the event and its sponsors • Exposure through news and feature stories generated in the media. • Advertising and promotional material in the Clubhouse during and prior to the event.
